What this site is

fact-minute generates timed arithmetic fact sheets for addition, subtraction, multiplication and division across the 0–12 range. Every sheet can be printed with its answer key as the second page, or answered on screen against a timer. It is a single-purpose tool with no accounts and no stored data.

It is built and run independently. It is not affiliated with any school, district, publisher, standards body, or with the organisations quoted on the how-it-works page.

How the answers are produced

Every problem and its answer are produced together by the same generator, so the answer key cannot drift out of step with the sheet. The generator is covered by tests that recompute each answer independently across all four operations and all thirteen ranges.

That is a guarantee about arithmetic, not about judgement. Which range belongs in front of a particular child, and whether a timed sheet should be used at all, are decisions this site does not make — and the case against the format is quoted in full rather than buried.

Reporting a problem

A wrong answer on a key is the most serious defect this site can have, because it teaches the wrong fact. If you find one, tell us which operation, which range, and the exact problem, and it will be treated as a bug rather than as feedback.

Advertising

The pages carry display advertising, which is what pays for the site. Ad slots sit below the tool and below the article text, never above the sheet, and they are removed from anything you print. The privacy page describes what the advertising involves.
