Division facts drawn across the whole 0–12 range in random order. Every problem on the sheet is drawn from that set and nothing outside it.

Choose 20, 50 or 100 problems and a limit of 1, 2 or 5 minutes, then print the sheet with its answer key on page two, or start the timer and type into the same grid. The problems are drawn again every time the page loads, so a second sheet is not a copy of the first. Where a mixed division sheet goes wrong

Mixed division asks whether a child can run the times table in reverse. On a single-range sheet the divisor is fixed and only “how many times” has to be counted; shuffled, the divisor has to be read first, which reveals whether the multiplication knowledge works in both directions. The gap between a mixed multiplication score and this one points at the weaker direction.

What does mixed division test that single divisors do not?
Whether the multiplication table works in reverse. A fixed divisor lets the child count up; mixed does not.
Why is my child better at mixed multiplication than mixed division?
Recall is usually learned in one direction first. The gap between the two sheets is the size of that asymmetry.
Are there remainders in mixed division?
No. Every problem is generated from a multiplication fact, so all answers are whole numbers.
